Showers and Thunderstorms Expected to Sweep Through Central Kansas

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into central Kansas late this afternoon and push eastward through the evening. A few storms could be strong to severe across far north central Kansas. Before the storms arrive, it will be warm, dry and breezy, and fire danger will be very high. We remain warmer than normal for this time of year through the week even though a cold front will move through on Wednesday.
