Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon across portions of north central Kansas while very high fire danger is present across all of northeast and east central Kansas due to low humidity (15-20%) and gusty south winds up to 40 mph. Isolated severe storms cannot be ruled out over far east central Kansas late tonight. Any storms that enter the area are capable of damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter size. Elevated fire danger conditions once again Sunday afternoon. Warm and quieter conditions reign next week.
