High Fire Danger and Above Average Temperatures Predicted This Week

Very high fire danger will be present across much of the area this afternoon, particularly over the Flint Hills region. Otherwise, expect above average temperatures this week with highs in the 70s for most locations, even reaching low 80s by Thursday. A few showers and storms are possible later in the week.
