Gusty Winds and Increased Fire Danger Expected this Friday

We've received some questions about Friday, when a very strong area of low pressure will move out over the Plains. Right now the most likely impacts look to be gusty winds and increased fire danger. The best severe chances appear to stay a bit to our east, but close enough to keep an eye on. Regardless, as we approach the time of year severe weather is most likely, it's a good time to brush up on your severe weather plan!
